Appraisers have fiduciary obligations to buyers, sellers and a variety of third parties who have been identified in the scope of work or other written parameters of the assignment. There are industry standards regarding whom they share information with, and how long they must keep appraisals on file. BIZ Appraisal Company adheres to The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) which does not allow appraisers to work on contingencies or percentage fees.
